i'm so angry. my sister just told me she thought we were watching finding nemo next week. when she actually agreed to watch this week, because she didn't want to watch it too late ?! then she was like,"NOOOOOO! i CAN'T ! i'm BUSY!"
and why was she busy ?
because she was going to watch how to lose a guy in 10 days.
which is like sooo irritating. and i was sooooo looking fwd to watching finding nemo with my sister. finding nemo is so cute. blah. wahtever.

anyway. yeah. everyone is saying this holiday isn't much of one. that is my sentiments too.
i look disgustedly at the pile of worksheets and assignments and all that bullshit and feel like tossing them out of the window. learning is learning, but seriously. everyone needs a break. what's a holiday all about anyway?
holidays are supposed to be for students to relax and destress. holidays are all about sitting around and wondering: what the hell can i do this sickeningly boring day ??
but.
everyday is packed with programmes, activities, whatever. when i plop myself on a chair in front of the computer screen, i can't help but think: am i going to be able to finish my homework in time?
it's a feeling that try to shrug off but yet keeps nagging at me. =\
plus plus plus. i wanna go out. the items under my "what i want to do" doesn't make up the entire list.
everytime i go out, i can't help but think [again]: am i spending too much money?

well we all know about the economic downturn.
what not all of us know is my younger brother.
my younger bro is this cute, cheerful little guy. on the 11/2/2000, my mum went to see her gyne [whatever you spell it].the gyne was sharp. she discovered something wrong with my brother's heartbeat, and that's why he was taken out of my mother's womb that very day, also 2 or 3 months before expected. i don't really remember. it's not important.
at a mere weight of 1.1kg, he was put in the icu. only my parents could go in and visit him. my sisters and i would peer through the window while my grandmother cried. at that time, i am pretty sure we didn't really know the seriousness of the whole matter, and the consequences it would bring. haha. sounds like i made some fatal mistake.
so the major point about this whole thing, was that my brother had to stay in the hospital for months.
you can imagine the hospital bill.
then my mother told us there was a hole in his brain tissue. in other words, he's brain damaged.
she started her research. she found information on programmes on brain injured children, and how effective they were, and she decided to give it a shot.
and so she now brings my brother to go austrailia, america and so on about every 6 months. my family never had much money to speak of. so bit by bit, my parents were being drained of their energy and money.
in addition to that, there is the recession, and my sis is going to the states to study after this year.
so yesterday my parents were discussing the option of moving to my grandmother's and renting our house out.
then they discussed the option of selling the car.
while our maid was being interviewed by a potential new employer.
i don't mind them selling the car, seriously.
but rent our house and move to toa payoh ?! hello ?! yeah, sure, the house is rampant with lizards and ants and cockroaches, but, still, i've stayed here for the most of my short life.
besides, i don't particularly like my grandmother's house.
whatever.

yay ! i finished eng.
