oh nooo. i think i've forgotten how to blog. just ystd i was writing an entry and i decided to stop bc i was just drivelling on and on abt some nonsense. haha. i found rachel's present! http://www.lids.com/pid/20026594 here. it's quite pretty! i'm trying very hard to persuade my dad to let me use his credit card but.. as rachel says, he's a "typical anxious (or sth. i can't rmbr! well, at least it fits.), overworked dad". like he was afraid they were cheating our money ("lids? what's lids?! i've never heard of them before!!") or his someone wld hack in and steal his credit card number ("i haven't bought insurance!"). well.. hopefully my mom wld be able to sway him. hopefully. talking abt christmas presents, i'm not really intending to get presents for alot of pple. bc i'm simply too broke (haha. surprise surprise.) but i promised jocelyn i'd get her sth.. and i have to get my parents sth bc i havne't gotten them their bday presents. they keep asking me for it. my mom was like, "do you love me?" so i said, "yes!" so she was like, "so where's my bday present!??!?!". and my dad said, "hmm christmas is coming." and i said "yay" and he said, "but you still owe us our bday presents! a treat would do!" see now you knw where i gt my thickskinnedness from. haha. and i have to get olli sth bc i'm feeling really guilty abt what i got her for her bday. i got her a bag of candy which costs only $2. hahaa. and she cldn't even rmbr that i got her a present in the first place! hahahaha. guess what! i already knw what to gt for my mom. toner! bc auntynicole tld her using toner before makeup is a must! soo yeah. and it's $38! but i don't even knw if it's gd. ohwell. wait til i get my pay (:
ystdchian came to my house to stayover! but it didn't really feel like a stayover. chian left so early bc she had to meet michelle and zhuting to watch polar express and play pool but i didn't go with them bc i was broke. bleahhh. but i wanted to go! haha. actually there was another reason. i was wayy too slpy to get out of bed. hahaha. shh! don't tell her that. hmm. the funniest thing is that i don't think my dad even knew she was staying over. bc when she came he was already aslp! yep but it was pretty fun (though chian kept complaining that sh was bored) and we both shared a night of lack of hygiene. (we were both too tired to brush our teeth so we just slpt.)

ok i'm starting to talk rubbish agn.
lemme talk abt the local cip we've been doing. it's soo interesting bc everyday mskoh brings in different biscuits! on the first day it was pineapple biscuits, peanut butter biscuits and oreo imitations. the second day was almond cookies and sth weird. then i sort of lost track after that. but. my favs are cocoa biscuits (though they don't taste of cocoa at all) and peanut butter biscuits! haha. i don't know why i'm talking about this. the cip was quite fun in it's own sort of way. the lee ah moi home thing didn't go too well.. but who am i to say anything bc i was 1.5 hrs late. i wldn't hae been that late if i had only listened to wen's instructions. but. i didn't! sooo. i ended up walking over 5 busstops.and wound up taking a bus back to sch... just to follow wen's instructions. wheee. our performance didn't go very well bc the old pple had no idea what was gg on in the skit. but some of them were so happy that we were there talking to them.. one guy cried when we left. one lady hated us. she kept banging her comb and telling us to stop singing. okay maybe it was the singing that got into her. at first i didn't knw she was doing that. i thought she was banging the remote control trying to get it to work, since that's what i do all the time. but sharon was telling me abt it after that, and she was really scared. plus the lady kept spitting at her. e old man yunxi and i tlaked to was most interesintg. he was from china but he doesn't like chinese he prefers eng! hahaa. but i think it's quit sad bc he says he has nth to do there..bc all the other old folks either don't speak his lang, or they are senile. they're bound to the chairs! ohwell.
we went melrose children's home to do stuff like teaching and gardening and painting murals. personally i don't think they really needed our help. they have some huge big screen tv, very nice computers (iono what they are but they look gd!) and an amazing library crammed with bks. and there were so many murals there already.. but that's not the point. actually melrose was the most fun. maybe it's bc i'm as childish as them or sth. hahaa iono. but the murals turned out REALLY REALLY pretty! someone was so smart as to bring n ohp to project out the images so all we had to do was trace. and the teaching was fun too! i learned how to make an origami crane which can flap it's wings! haha. i knw i knw i was supposed to be teaching. well i taught this kid how to make a penguin. hahaha. surely that counts for sth? the worst part was the gardening. i hate weeding. enough said.
another day we brought some senior citizens to the bird park. there was this very interesting old man who volunteered himself during the children's parrot show! hahaa. it was hilarious. cld see everyone gaping in astonishment when he went up. but he's a really funny old man. maybe it was just bc he was old so eerything he said seemed funny. well actually it was very lame. i'm sure if i said it no one wld laugh. but everyone was laughing! so i conclude that when i'm old i can say alot of stupid stuff and pple wld appreciate my sense of humour. not like now. haha cos pple just think i'm being stupid! i thought it very sweet that the old folks kept looking out for each other, making sure they don't get left out that kinda thing. aww (:
after all the cip stuff was over i got my job! it's really quite fun. interesting stuff happen almost everyday (: like just ystd these 2 very old women were convinced that this very weird song was by kylie minougue (i don't knw how to spell). i half expected them to start dancing along to the music. well. the only thing that singer had in common with kylie minougue is they're both female.
hmmm. sgidol is gg to be on soon! i'm gg to watch it now even though i don't really give a damn who wins. i'm leaving for this camp so and won't be back til mondayy! ohdear i just realized i havne't packed yet.

taufik won. haha. how interesting. sgidol has knocked a few screws in my sis' head loose. she was dancing arnd, jumping and screaming until even my dad got fed up and told her "if you can't control your emotions please go to the room!". guess what! our neighbours sent in 200 votes for taufik. hahaa. oh and i think the whole marry me thing was totally funny. they even wore veils! too cute. haha.
